Searching for the most efficient way of preserving our planet`s natural resources, Ecoalf finds its inspiration for the new FW 17 collection.
The planet as part of an everything, the cosmos (macro) and the technologic applications that permit such advances. Investigation, microscopic images (micro).
From these two concepts we developed the collection`s character... The Micro as a way of explaining our new textures, details or fabric finishing’s; always trying to increase their properties every season. This season we included waterproof, elastic and breathable materials, adapting smoothly to the body...
The Macro aspect in order to explain either color, by putting an accent on our metallic copper fabrics, or silhouettes, highlighting comfort and smoothness.
One more time, materials take leadership, using elastic terry that permits an optimal movement...
Last but not least, we can`t forget our iconic models, continuing with our ultra light down jackets and offering a larger chromatic range of colors.
Unfortunately, nowadays no one takes responsibility for cleaning and conserving the sea. There is no such thing as cleaning mechanisms.
At ECOALF, we believe it is time to react and stop living in this planet as if we had another one to go to when this one is destroyed. Humans need to be aware of the real situation and learn the risks we face.
As a result of our Upcycling the Oceans project which removes the marine waste from the bottom of The Mediterranean Sea to create a new 100% recycled filament called Seaqual we present a new collection entirely manufactured in Spain. Much more feminine qualities made with Seaqual combined with recycled cotton and twill, drained wool and tencell has allowed us to offer a complete new product line.
Once again, the goal is to succeed in obtaining 100% recycled filaments of high technical quality and textures in tune with current trend without using more of the planet’s natural resources.
We are the third generation that uses plastic on a massive scale. In the last 15 years, more plastic has been produced that in the entire 20th century.
Over 8 million tonnes of waste enter our oceans every year. Through this new trousers collection made mixing our Seaqual filament that cleans the bottom of the oceans and cotton we ask for your collaboration to help us clean the oceans.
